My Story
I first heard about Scentsy through a friend who joined, I knew nothing about the product or the business, and to be honest wasn't interested in yet another “direct sales” company. My friend then brought around to my house a basket of stuff and set up a warmer in my lounge room while we chatted about the products. I sat and I smelt the testers and the various fragrances and I fell in love with hoe delicious this stuff smelt. I then decided, yep I need some of this in my life. So I began writing down my “wish list” and before long I had a list bigger then my bank account would allow. My friend then started talking to me about what she was able to do with her business and what she could earn, not only in the way of income but in the way of all expenses paid holidays etc. It got me thinking….. I hated my job, I wasn't happy there and I hated having to put my 6 month old into day care and missing watching all his important milestones. He hated day care and I kept sending him because I needed the money to help contribute to paying the bills!!!! I looked at the business side of things and asked a few questions and before I knew it I was signing up. I thought what's the worst that could happen???? If I failed then at least id come out with some beautiful smelling products and id have got them at a discounted rate. I never dreamed I could actually be successful in this business, even my husband doubted it at first. I then went on to achieve shooting star, which set me up and got me even more discounted products. I then went on to reach scentsational start level 2 and received $175 product credit for my efforts. I thought to myself “gee if I can do this I wonder if I can earn myself the free all expenses paid trip to Singapore”. Well I CAN AND I WILL was my motto for the next 6 months!! I started building my team and was promoted 5 times in 6 months!!! Not only did I earn a FREE trip for myself but I also earnt it for my husband as well!! I made top sales in the country for my title in December 2015 and I then went on to achieve top sponsor for January!!! My goal was to make Director by Singapore!!! AND I DID IT!!!! In 8 short months I had an awesome team of 30 consultants and I had promoted to DIRECTOR.
I then made the next FREE incentive trip with scentsy by earning a spot in the top 100 in the world and went on a South African safari. The trip of a lifetime!!!!!
I’ve gone on to earn a Mediterranean Cruise on Symphony of the Seas, and I finished 1st in Australia out of 5000 consultants. I have also earned a free trip to Mexico and Burmuda!!!! The trips just keep on coming!!!
I’ve earned annual sales excellence award in 2017 and 2019 and earned annual mentor award in 2017 and 2018!!! So you know you’ll be in good hands!!
Now I am hoping to pass on all my valuable insights and experience to others so that they too can perhaps have the life they never dreamed of!!! This is not just another Direct Sales company it truly is a family and the support is phenomenal. I now contribute to my household bills and I’m making the same amount that I was when I was working full time and missing out on my Children growing up!!! My goal now is to get my husband home from the mines so he no longer has to miss out!!! Best move I ever made!! I’m my own boss and I work the hours I want to work!!
